(*) M. hypoleon Linnaeus: based on a yellow form of O. trilineata. The original material was collected in Germany. Haliday (1851, Ent. Ztg. Stettin, 12: 137) stated that the first specimen under 'hypoleon' in the Linnaeus collection (London, Linnean Society) really belonged to O. trilineata as currently defined.
