Type Species:	by original designation: Ammetopa codeti Oberthür, sensu Hampson, 1906, a misidentification [= Erythrophaia canroberti Oberthur, 1918, Etudes Lépid. comp., 16: 182, fig.4130] * ------------- (*) Hampson misidentified Metopoceras codeti Oberthur, 1881 (Etudes Ent., 6: 88, pl.11, fig.10). Hampson's specimens were of a species undescribed at that time (Nye, 1975, Generic Names of Moths of the World, 1: 38)
