Type Specimen(s): | The holotype male of this species is labeled “BELIZE: Bel. Dist., Belize City” / “UCB Campus, 17°30.907N, 88°12.344W, 23-28 Feb 1997, Elev 13 ft., J. S. Kirkley, Coll.” [white paper, printed] / “LACM ENT 325740” [plastic barcode label]. The holotype is glued by the dorsal side to a pin and is in good condition (abdomen removed, dissected, and stored in a microvial containing glycerin on the same pin as the rest of the specimen) except lightly dusted with lepidopteran scales and missing the following: left antenna; left fronto-orbital, postpronotal, and anepisternal setae; left and right presutural supra-alar setae; anterior and posterior left and anterior right dorsocentral setae; and right midtarsomeres 4 and 5. The holotype is deposited in the LACM; no separate type number assigned. | |
